Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Biloxi, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet and communicate clearly with store teams and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or local public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances and exits, parking lots, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer traffic for suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, reporting observations and taking appropriate action per post orders.
• Complete reports and maintain logs related to incidents, patrol activity, and customer service interactions, using clear communication with site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Loss Prevention - preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
