As a Security Officer - Bank Branch Rounds in Mount Vernon, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and customers with a service-first mindset, communicate clearly, and document observations and concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and employees by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a financial services location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by site policy, and direct visitors to the appropriate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and medical situations, and request assistance as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
