Description

The Digital Modernization Sector within Leidos has an opening for a Business Analyst for the GIG Service Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at Fort Meade, MD.

The GSM-O contract scope includes Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

The Business Analyst will support TN 21, Integration Services, GSM-O by driving requirements analysis, operational coordination, data validation, and stakeholder alignment. This role focuses on requirements clarity, workflow analysis, operational tracking, and metrics, while ensuring engineers, PMs, and stakeholders have the information needed to deliver mission critical IT integration activities.

While primarily hybrid, this position requires the ability to report on-site as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Requirements & Workflow Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements across Integration Services.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear, structured requirements.
  • Support task decomposition (LOE inputs, dependencies, sequencing) for scheduling and operational planning.
  • Conduct workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and ensure requirements align with technical paths.

Documentation & Stakeholder Support

  • Document requirements, meeting outcomes, action items, and technical alignment decisions.
  • Maintain accurate, organized repositories for requirements, risks, and operational artifacts.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries and analytical briefs for PMO and leadership.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews and support technical discussions to maintain alignment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience Bachelor's degree in business, IS/IT, Engineering, or related field, or relevant experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years in business analysis, technical coordination, or operations.
  • Must hold an active US Secret clearance.
  • Strong skills in requirement gathering, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience synthesizing data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT integration, telecommunications, networking, or government programs.
  • Familiarity with node/circuit workflows, or integration, testing and acceptance readiness.
  • Knowledge of MS Project or schedule-driven environments.
  • Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, CAPM, PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and technical alignment sessions.
