The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 27.00 USD - 35.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Formulation Intern, you'll work alongside senior R&D chemists to create, test, and refine market-ready prototypes. We're looking for a curious mind to help navigate the exciting journey from an initial concept brief to finished consumer goods. Master the chemistry of raw materials, navigate the complexities of stability testing and commercial scale up, you will be an integral part of our R&D team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performance Testing: Conduct rigorous physical and chemical analysis on all prototypes. You will be responsible for measuring and documenting critical quality parameters, including pH levels, salt curves viscosity, and sensory attributes.
  • Prototype Preparation: Execute creation of lab-scale formulation batches. Follow precise experimental protocols, mastering specialized laboratory equipment and bench chemistry techniques
  • Stability & Compatibility Studies: Set up and monitor stability tests to assess product integrity over time under various environmental conditions.
  • Digital Data Management: Accurately record experimental results, formulation adjustments, and qualitative observations in our digital lab notebook (ELN) systems, ensuring data integrity for future scale-up.
  • Strategic Ingredient Research: Support the innovation pipeline through evaluation of new raw materials and active ingredients that meet our sustainability standards and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related laboratory-based scientific discipline.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of general chemistry principles, laboratory safety protocols, and standard scientific measurement techniques.
  • Laboratory Skills: Demonstrated experience in a classroom or professional laboratory setting, including familiarity with standard safety protocols, precise measurement techniques, and the use of analytical equipment.
  • Critical thinking:Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to analyze experimental data.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting project summaries.
  • Trend Awareness:A passion for the personal care industry and awareness of current consumer beauty and wellness trends.
