Per Mar Security is seeking a well qualified candidate to be available as a flex security officer. Flex security officers assist with site coverage for call-offs, vacations, and temporary openings. When not needed for those duties, they will be scheduled to assist at Illinois Wesleyan University.

The ideal candidate would preferably be based out of Bloomington/Normal, IL; possess an IL PERC card, currently or in the recent past; have open availability to work a variety of days and shifts; an employment history that reflects a high level of responsibility and dependability.

Pay is a $23.00/hr. flat rate for all work locations assigned. This officer will be guaranteed a schedule of 40 work hours-per-week, plus milage for travel outside of the Bloomington/Normal metro area.

*A valid driver's license, as well as reliable transportation required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with the coverage of Per Mar Security sites in central Illinois, primarily in the Bloomington and Champaign areas. Additionally, occasional coverage assistance may be needed for Springfield and Peoria. Mileage reimbursement of $0.58 CPM is offered for travel outside of the Bloomington/Normal metro.

Must have the availability and flexibility, to cover an array of schedules and work sites, primarily 1st and/or 2nd shifts.

Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical duties of the position.
• Strong attention to detail, with a high level of responsibility and dependability.
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
