Location: Providence Medical Center-Kansas City, KS (Sporting KC)

Become a crucial member of the Sporting KC team as a Paramedic, where you will ensure the safety and health of all event attendees. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your paramedic skills within a vibrant sporting environment.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    Provide advanced emergency medical care and support during Sporting KC soccer events.
  • Perform patient assessments and initiate advanced treatment plans as needed.
  • Operate medical equipment and administer medications in compliance with medical protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with medical personnel, security, and external emergency services.
  • Execute emergency management and response strategies specific to sports facilities.
  • Document and maintain accurate medical reports and records.


Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • Current and valid paramedic license issued by the State of Kansas (KS) and/or the State of Missouri.
  • Current BCLS (AHA or Red Cross) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of one (1) year as a paramedic in an EMS or in an acute care hospital setting: E.R. setting preferred.
