Job Title: SN DEVELOPER FOUNDATIONAL ROLES

Location(s): Chicago, IL
(Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules, including ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and custom applications.
  • Customize ServiceNow forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to development standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.
Required Skills:
  • 4-6 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow Studio.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, or HRSD.
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in ServiceNow.
  • Exposure to global or enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
