You will monitor assigned areas, respond to concerns, and support access control while delivering customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a tech, media, and/or telecom location by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor and/or vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
  • Observe for unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, suspicious behavior, and/or hazards, then report findings per site protocol.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and summoning additional resources as needed.
  • Write clear and detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or policy exceptions using required paper and/or electronic systems.
  • Provide assistance to employees, guests, and contractors with directions, information, and general site support while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support emergency and/or business continuity procedures, including notifications, evacuations, and coordination with local responders when directed.
  • Operate communication equipment such as radios and phones to coordinate patrol activity and incident response.
  • Participate in shift briefings, follow post orders, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
