As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate and residential locations, conducting routine rounds, staying highly visible, and responding to service requests and security-related concerns. You will help to support access points, document observations, and communicate clearly with residents, tenants, guests, and site teams. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential and commercial property areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Control access through designated entry points by checking identification, authorizing entry, issuing visitor directions, and following sign-in and/or key control procedures as required by site policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, trespassing, noise complaints, suspicious activity, and/or property damage.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or building systems when assigned, and communicate observed concerns to on-site contacts and/or emergency responders per post orders.
- Complete routine property checks such as verifying doors and gates are secured, lights are functioning, and restricted areas are not accessed without authorization.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual occurrences in written reports, logs, and/or electronic systems in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
- Provide assistance with resident and tenant inquiries, service calls, and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support move-in and move-out activity by monitoring common areas, assisting with loading area coordination, and reporting policy concerns to site management.
- Communicate promptly with site management and Allied Universal supervision regarding hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during assigned duties.
- Participate in drills and follow site procedures for emergencies such as fire alarms, medical events, severe weather, and/or power outages, including assisting with notifications and area checks as directed.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and comply with uniform standards and post-specific requirements while performing assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements: - Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
