As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol Driver in Sheboygan Falls, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor badge activity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, chemical odor reports, spills, and/or other abnormal conditions, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, processing areas, storage yards, tank farms, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
- Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing keys and/or access cards as authorized, and maintaining entry and exit logs.
- Monitor cameras, intrusion alarms, fire panels, and/or other site monitoring systems, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel following site procedures.
- Perform vehicle patrols of roadways, parking areas, and loading zones, checking for suspicious activity, unsecured doors, and/or irregular conditions.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by monitoring truck traffic, verifying delivery and pickup information, directing drivers to designated areas, and documenting exceptions per site policy.
- Maintain complete and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports, including times, locations, actions taken, and notifications made.
- Assist with evacuation and/or shelter-in-place procedures, traffic control, and scene control as directed during drills and/or real events.
- Interact professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors while enforcing site rules, personal protective equipment requirements as directed, and restricted-area controls according to post orders.
- Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives to address recurring issues, follow up on reports, and support continuous improvement of site procedures.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements: - Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
