HealthPark Drive Fort Myers FL 33908 Department: GCHSWF Critical Care Transport Team Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/11:00:00 AM to 11:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$21.01 - $24.69 / hour SummaryA member of the GCHSWFL Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Team. Participates in evaluating patient status/need and determining priority of transport request. Must have ability to work closely with leadership, physicians, Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Paramedics. Will be required to perform intra-system and inter-facility transports with Paramedic or RN/RT support based on priority triage. Performs daily maintenance of the ambulance; including all ALS/BLS equipment stored in ambulance, maintaining logs, and restocking supplies. Assists with patient care within hospital facility while not on transport as described in specific job standards. RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Pre-hospital experience preferred. Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required. 16-hour Emergency Vehicle Operation Certification required. License: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic license required. Class E Florida Drivers License required. Why Join Lee Health?
