As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support store teams and guests through clear communication, calm response, and a customer-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, sales floors, stockroom corridors, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire-related alarms, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazardous conditions to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials, directing deliveries and vendors, and maintaining visitor and/or contractor logs when assigned.
• Support store leadership with loss prevention awareness by reporting observed concealment, loitering, and/or other indicators of possible theft without physical intervention unless authorized by post orders.
• Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV and alarms when available, and document any irregularities per site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift activity logs, and/or other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide directions and assistance to shoppers, coordinate with mall management and/or local responders when needed, and maintain a neat, professional appearance and conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
