Under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist (RO) and/or a Qualified Medical Physicist (QMP), the Dosimetrist generates clinically acceptable treatment plans and dose calculations, communicates planning intent with the team, and supports safe, accurate implementation of the prescribed course of therapy. Required Qualifications at this Level Education Bachelor's degree required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Dosimetry program required. Experience If certified as a Medical Dosimetrist (C.M.D.), two years of dosimetry experience. If uncertified, Board eligible with certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) within two years of graduation from the program. Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification Certified as Medical Dosimetrist (C.M.D.) or Board eligible with certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) within two years of graduation from the program.
