Medical Assistant - Urgent Care
Location: North Conway, New Hampshire
Position Type: part-time, 24 hours per week

As a Medical Assistant, you will support providers, assist patients, and help ensure the clinic runs smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic healthcare setting and enjoys working directly with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out processes
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA
• Support clinic operations including scheduling, phone triage, and administrative tasks
• Ensure clean and organized clinical areas

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
2. License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or NREMT certification preferred. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Fully remote care team members are exempt from BLS certification requirement. A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
3. Experience: Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
