JOB SUMMARY: The AVP, Global Strategic Sourcing & Category Management is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies that optimize cost, reduce risk, strengthen supplier partnerships, and enhance overall business value for a leading medical claims & network management, data management, and technology organization. This role oversees enterprise-wide category management across technology, professional services, data services, network operations, and other critical spend categories. The AVP is accountable for establishing strategic supplier relationships, driving contract excellence, enabling operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry trends. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in complex sourcing environments, vendor governance, and category strategy-combined with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide transformation. JOB SCOPE:
The base salary range for this position is $180k-195k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k, and as part of our competitive total compensation package, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance, as well as participation in our equity program.
