Gas Operations is responsible for all aspects of PG&E's gas distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, restoration and emergency response. The Gas Transmission Project Management Department is a team of professionals working throughout the service territory to manage a portfolio of expense and capital projects for Gas Transmission Portfolio Management The team is responsible for the execution of projects from start to finish. Position Summary Gas Workstream Program leaders are responsible for one or more groups of projects necessary for the maintenance and operations of gas facilities. They lead teams of project managers and oversee matrixed teams who support these projects. Work groups may consist of regular employees and contractors. These leaders manage work from inception through completion while meeting the cost, scope and schedule requirements, leveraging the skills and experience of a diverse team to focus on the successful delivery of capital and expense projects. The leaders promote a safety culture and ensure all staff adhere to all company and regulatory safety practices and policies. They contribute toward Gas Safety Excellence goals by improving safety, reliability and affordability for one or more asset families and one or more life cycles. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
