Role Description: Senior Manager, Finance Lead Global

Key Responsibilities for Driving Collections, Dispute Resolution, and Process Excellence to ensure timely billing and payments, operational efficiency, and compliance with internal and external requirements, acting as the primary point of contact towards the customer on a global level.

Overview

The Finance Lead serves as the main driver for collections activities and acts as the primary point of contact with customers for collection, all billing-related disputes, process updates, and IT changes. This role is central to ensuring efficient communication, effective collections strategies, and seamless teamwork with the billing team.

Main Responsibilities



  • Lead and oversee the collections process for assigned portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up and effective resolution of all outstanding receivables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dispute resolution, working closely with customers, the billing team, and internal stakeholders to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Act as the key speaking partner towards the customer and 3rd party payment company, ensuring a unified and consistent approach in communication and service delivery.
  • Serve as the main liaison for DSV billing countries and 3rd party Agency company, maintaining clear communication and alignment across all levels.
  • Drive the communication and implementation of all process updates and changes, ensuring transparency and understanding across Finance and Operations teams.
  • Coordinate with IT/operations and customers on system updates and changes related to billing, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with the billing team, operations and commercial team fostering collaboration and alignment on shared goals and continuous process improvements.
  • Support the implementation of a consolidated financial reporting process to enhance visibility and drive efficiency in billing, collections, and dispute management and ensuring invoicing is completed within agreed contractual frameworks.
  • Share best practices and provide training to team members to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence in processes across all divisions.



Goals and Expectations



  • Ensure timely and compliant billing in accordance with defined billing window requirements.
  • Reduce overdue balances through proactive collection strategy.
  • Ensure all disputes are resolved promptly and documented according to process standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date processes and IT systems that support billing and collections efficiency.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and continuous knowledge sharing.
  • Strengthen financial reporting transparency and uphold process compliance throughout the organization.



Qualifications and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Previous leadership or people management experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
  • Proficiency in ERP, MS Office, Data & Reporting Tools and Third-Party Agency Portal



For this position, the expected base pay range is $120,000-$145,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
