Lee Health is seeking a Critical Care Nocturnist! Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds. Position Information: Lee Health Pulmonology is actively looking for a nocturnist to join our growing team. This position is a unique opportunity to work on-site a 7-on/ 7-off schedule (12-hours shifts) supporting the critical care units at our Gulf Coast Medical Center. Requirements: MD/DO; Fellowship Trained and Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine Active, unrestricted license in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain prior to start); Active, unrestricted Florida DEA Current ACLS and BLS Certification This position is specifically for on-site nights coverage often overseeing 40-50 critical care medical and surgical beds. The right candidate will be competent in all aspects of critical care medicine including but not limited to intubation, ventilation management, central lines, arterial lines, and chest tubes. The service line is supported by our ICU Medical Director, Pulmonologists and Advanced Practice Providers.
