We are looking for an Azure AI Partnerships Group Finance Managerto help support Azure deal-making for Microsoft's largest AI customers. This role will leverage extensive financial modeling experience to find and implement solutions for complex, and often ambiguous challenges. This role will act as a thought leader across internal and external stakeholders to establish business models and pricing frameworks that are mutually beneficial for Microsoft and our AI customers.

Responsibilities
  • Creatingrobust and detailed financial models to evaluate complextransactions anddetermineclear negotiationsguardrails
  • Leading cross-functional engagements with internal and external stakeholders to clearly define complex technical requirements and articulate the financial impact of business decisions
  • Collaborating with Business Development, Engineering, and other teams to gather inputs and provide thought leadership throughout the financial deal-making process
  • Providing clear executive-level communication on financial terms for complex, first-of-their-kind engagements, balancing business objectives with risk management

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience building Excel models and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Investment banking and/or corporate development experience
  • Written and verbal communication skills, enabling simple
  • 3+ years work experience in the technology or software industry
  • communication of complex topics to an executive audience
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves ata fastpace
  • Business partnering capabilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others to align on a shared outcome
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • High levelof self-motivation; ability to quicklyidentifywhat needs to beaccomplishedand resourcefulness to get things done
  • Passionateabout the technology industry, AI,andability to engage in technical discussions


Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
