Program Analyst V

Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position:



  • Works as part of the program management team whose core responsibility is to, analyze, and report on data collected.
  • Particular focus will be on building, maintaining, and analyzing schedules and budgets. This activity will include generating program/project status, cost and schedule indicators, project schedule trends, critical path analysis, and schedule optimizations.
  • Responsible for developing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports on business related metrics.
  • Identifies potential project trends and risks to management.
  • Supports creation of cost estimates for procurement actions.
  • Develops business systems and processes based on user needs and requirements.
  • Devises or modifies procedures to enable management to make program decisions based on cost benefit analysis and schedule considerations.
  • May have quality assurance responsibilities.
  • Serves as an expert contributor in particular business processes responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization's business plan and industry requirements.
  • Acts independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems.
  • Can create mathematical models and provide quantitative methods related to business processes/ practices.



Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):



  • Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree, or an Associates' Degree and 3 years' relevant experience, or High School diploma and 5 years' relevant experience.
  • 20+ years of experience performing program and data analysis
  • Support the cost/benefit analysis for each site
  • Experience supporting all aspects of field operations and its sustainment involving the planning, execution, transition, and integration
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Project, Power Point, and Word.
  • Must have experience with government contracts.
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling outages
  • Expertise in identifying and generating hardware and software needs in alignment with organizational business needs
  • Understanding of risk tracking and management of risks and trends



Nice to Have (skills that are not required, but nice to have):



  • Experience supporting FAA
  • Experience performing program analysis for ATO Program management organization-decision support programs
  • Experience with FAA AMS systems
