Marketing Specialist

General Description:

This full-time position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the bank's marketing and public relations efforts. The Marketing Specialist supports all departments and business lines by executing integrated marketing campaigns that promote the bank's brand, products, services, and community involvement across digital and traditional channels. This hands-on role includes creating and managing marketing content, coordinating advertising and promotional campaigns, supporting website, email, and social media initiatives, and working with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The Marketing Specialist ensures all marketing activities align with the bank's brand standards and comply with applicable banking regulations.

Skills and Characteristics for Applicants:

The qualified individual will be a creative, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, and execute marketing initiatives from concept through completion.

Other desired skills include:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and website content management
  • Basic to intermediate graphic design skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills
  • Ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all marketing materials

Educational Requirements:

Educational requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a preferred field of Marketing, Communications, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience executing advertising and marketing programs, including digital and social media components. An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be considered. Experience in financial services or bank marketing is preferred but not required.
