The Ultrasound Applications Specialist role requires the ability to train and support end-users. The ideal candidate will provide in person applications training for our ultrasound imaging equipment, customer support calls and working with service team on difficult service events, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Applications & Customer Training: * Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for clinicians, sonographers, and hospital staff on the proper use of ultrasound systems. * Provide clinical and technical applications support to customers to enhance system utilization. * Assist in optimizing ultrasound system settings based on clinical needs. * Act as a liaison between customers and product development teams, providing feedback for system improvements. Technical Support & Field Service: * Work closely with the technical support team to resolve complex service issues. Customer Service & Sales Support: * Build strong relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service and support. * Assist sales teams by demonstrating ultrasound equipment capabilities during pre-sales activities. * Provide input on product development based on customer feedback and market trends. Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS Required Education and Experience: * Must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and be in good standing with one or more of the agencies providing said registry such as the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International). * 5+ years of experience working in diagnostic ultrasound setting or 2+ years in ultrasound applications. * Strong technical troubleshooting skills in ultrasound technology and imaging systems. * Experience with training and supporting clinical professionals in the use of ultrasound equipment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction. * Ability to work independently, manage travel schedules, and respond to customer calls promptly. * Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. Preferred Education and Experience: * Licensed in multiple specialties of ultrasound technology (e.g., RDMS, RVT, RDCS) * Experience with multiple ultrasound machine brands and models. * Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., FDA, HIPAA). TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS * The position will require the ability to travel, up to 100% of the time.
