Job Overview The Site Merchandising sitewide associate supports our digital customer strategy, process and operations, testing and implementation, and ongoing optimization to drive product discovery and selection. You will be a driver of centralized guardrails and execution across site discovery (navigation, facet/filtering), marketing event, promotion and content management across macys.com and influence future roadmap and experimentation needs. We are looking for a highly motivated business advocate to join our team of passionate thinkers and problem solvers. You will be directly responsible for aligning business priorities, utilizing analytics as the voice of the customer and knowledge of competitive research to understand what is happening in the space. A successful candidate will have passion for merchandising and collaborate with cross-functional units to drive business priorities and digital customer journey. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience defining strategy, proven project management skills for planning and executing a best in class customer experience through effective site merchandising tactics and strong partnerships. What You Will Do * Build trusting cross-functional relationships in a POD working group setting, including Site Merchandising, Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management, Analytics, UX, Customer Experience, CRM/Loyalty and Technology. * Partner with Site Merchandising and GFOB Strategy to identify digital enhancement ideas/needs based on knowledge of the category, industry trends and customer behaviors. * Use key Site & Product analytics metrics for customer satisfaction, conversion & revenue and your strategic problem-solving skills to guide business priorities. * Own alignment of business priorities through development of rolling backlog. Ability to prioritize business backlog as part of Product Operating Model. * Have excellent communication to ensure that your business partners feel involved and informed at all times through transparent communication. * Develop and lead business scale plan for Products. * Leverage internal experimentation to A/B test business priorities for scalability. * Be a champion for the business and user experience, and voice of the customer. * Be the subject matter expert on competitive landscapes. Skills You Will Need Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate performance, drive business decisions, and measure impact; leverages insights to inform prioritization and strategic direction. Collaboration & Influence: Creative and team-oriented, with a strong ability to build partnerships across all levels of the organization; skilled in influencing cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders around shared goals. Strategic Thinking: Anticipates business needs and navigates operational complexities to define strategic objectives, communicate impacts, and contribute to long-term planning. Technical Partnership: Collaborates closely with technology and POD teams to understand and evaluate technical constraints, capabilities, and opportunities, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution. Customer-Centric Innovation: Identifies key use cases and supports journey mapping and hypothesis development to enhance the customer experience and inform product or initiative design. Performance Measurement: Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and engagement metrics to assess outcomes, optimize performance, and support continuous improvement. Business Acumen: Understands operational intricacies and strategic priorities; able to synthesize this understanding to guide decision-making and execution. Creative Problem Solving: Balances creative, strategic, and technical thinking to deliver innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Project Leadership: Adept at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously; consistently meets tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes and driving measurable business value.
