How you will impact Ingevity:

  • Manage and coordinate maintenance work flow between North Plant Operations and Maintenance

  • Manage and coordinate outage planning, timeline, and execution

  • Schedule and facilitate weekly maintenance meeting for operations group, pre-outage meetings, post-outage meetings

  • Manage maintenance backlog and ensure maintenance metrics are met

  • Develop and maintain a 7-day maintenance work schedule and determine priorities for work order back log

  • Lead/assist improvement projects

  • Troubleshoot equipment failures

  • Assist planners/area supervisors with development of SAP BOMs and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts for BOMs, PMs, maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.

  • Lead efforts to improve Preventative Maintenance System

  • Lead efforts to improve Operations and Maintenance coordination for day to day and outage work

  • Provide weekend duty support on rotation with the North Plant team

  • Provide back-up coverage for other North Plant team members as needed

  • Learn and assist with planning, prioritizing, and managing production activities for safe operations and achieve production goals

  • Potential to step into production engineering role in the North Plant

What you need to succeed:

  • Engineering degree is preferred, May 2026 graduates are eligible to apply

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with industrial plant operationsis preferred in lieu of degree

  • Strong mechanical background

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong computer skills

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills
