Overview

This position will support the Communications team on projects to support their annual goals and objectives to shape culture, drive employee engagement and build alignment for the company strategy. This will include, but is not limited to, internal and external communications, digital and traditional media, website maintenance, employee message distribution, and a range of administrative tasks.



Responsibilities

    Support a high-volume of communication initiatives, meeting tight deadlines, multi-tasking and working under pressure, and with an eye for detail.
  • Track key projects, deliverables, and communications plans
  • Proactively follow up on all tasks for which the function is responsible
  • Timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • Complete ad hoc duties as needed
  • Interact with other departments to understand the key components of the Company's business

Communications:

  • Support preparation, drafting, editing and distribution of communications including, but not limited to Company emails/announcements, press releases, intranet (InsideAtlas) articles, etc. Ensure distribution through appropriate channels to intended audiences.
  • Proactive and consistent support for intranet management (both GlobalNet and InsideAtlas) to ensure the platform is a vibrant digital hub for employees. Ongoing responsibilities include auditing and clean up of existing materials and the establishment of new go-forward processes.
  • Draft/edit messaging, prepare presentations and coordinate logistics (employee emails and interfacing with vendor) for Town hall meetings
  • Support the execution of employee surveys, and use data analytics to present findings
  • Manage a robust internal communications calendar, to include message development, approval tracking and distribution to appropriate audiences. Also work closely with HR and IT to optimize the active directory for accurate audience mapping.
  • Support maintenance of the Company website to ensure functionality, up-to-date information (including prompt posting of press releases); take proactive approach to facilitate resolutions to any technical problems
  • Support the content development and distribution for the Company's external blog (Tailwinds)

Corporate Meetings and Events:

  • Assist with planning, logistics and coordination of deliverables for internal/external meetings such as annual Leadership Meeting, Town Halls, and others as needed.

Social Media

  • In partnership with social media agency, oversee social media channels across Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Work closely with the social media agency to plan the social content calendar
  • Support the social media agency by developing copy and collecting images, videos and other assets as needed.
  • Coordinate approval of social media posts with stakeholders across the company.

Marketing (Operations-Focused):

  • Assist with meeting all deadlines as outlined in the yearly Marketing/Communications Plan.
  • Be a resource for Atlas' regional teams in Asia/Pacific, Europe/Middle East/India/Africa, South America, and North America.
  • Support scheduling, planning, and preparation for customer marketing and trade show events.
  • Plan the annual purchasing of promotional giveaway items, obtain approvals for selection, design and cost, coordinate with vendors and ensure timely shipments to regional team offices or trade shows.
  • Coordinate the annual purchasing of executive giveaways and annual holiday gifts, holiday cards design and distribution to customers.
  • Support maintenance of digital photo library and fulfill requests for images, logos, etc.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; degree preferred in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • 2+ years in a professional corporate environment, preferably in Communications, Public Relations or related field.
  • Applicant must demonstrate a strong ability in both verbal and written communications.
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and execution skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office including PowerPoint. Experience with Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator, website management of WordPress and working knowledge of communication and social media tools is desired.
  • Must possess impeccable ethics, the ability to think independently and a professional manner in dealing with senior management.
  • Must be motivated and have the ability to effectively and efficiently juggle multiple deliverables.
  • Requires minimal supervision, strong independent thinker and the ability to team well with others.
  • Works well under pressure and can effectively and professionally handle confidential issues in a tight time frame.
  • Has supervised vendors such as graphic design firms, printers, and audio/visual companies.
  • Professional and positive attitude with internal and external clients.

Salary Range: $53,500 $72,000

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
