Account Manager (Inside/Outside Sales)

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a results-driven Account Manager with a strong background in B2B sales within metal fabrication or custom manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and takes ownership of projects from concept through completion, working closely with engineering and production teams.

Position Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving both inside and outside sales efforts by generating new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts. This individual will lead the full sales lifecycle-from prospecting to project delivery-by identifying client needs and delivering tailored manufacturing solutions.

Compensation



  • Base Salary: DOE
  • Uncapped Commission Structure
  • Total Earning Potential: $100,000+

Key Responsibilities



  • Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and company-provided leads
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, closing, and post-sale relationship management
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations (both in-person and virtual)
  • Assess customer needs and recommend customized fixture and retail display solutions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the entire project lifecycle-from concept to completion
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure successful execution
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts through consistent communication and site visits
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and product innovation
  • Prepare professional proposals, quotes, and presentations using tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline tracking


Qualifications



  • 4-5+ years of B2B sales experience (required)
  • Proven success within metal fabrication, custom manufacturing, or a related industry (highly preferred)
  • Experience selling or consulting within industries such as custom blinds, woodworking, windows, doors, framing, or similar products
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver's License (required)
