The Plant Engineering Manager oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment to maintain proper functionality and efficiency. This position is responsible for the researching and developing new designs and projects to improve manufacturing processes, proposing budgets for projects, and overseeing all the activities related to each project.

Additional Information:

5% Travel

M-F 8-4:30 with coverage for 24/7 site, including adjusting schedule as needed to see night shift.

This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.
  • Propose and manage budgets for projects
  • Plan and execute strategies for completing projects on time
  • Research and develop designs and products
  • Manage and develop others
  • Partner with various departments and leadership to ensure support of projects
  • Provide clear and concise instructions and training as needed
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in engineering
  • Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in an engineering function
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
  • Have prior work experience using timekeeping systems
  • Have at least three (3) years of work experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility
