We're seeking a Medical Office Specialist who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In This Role: * You will manage all front and/or back office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones * You will manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information * You will assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge) including balancing the day in the computer What Qualifications you will need: * One year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred * eClinicalWorks (ECW) trained is most preferred * Experience using an EHR system is highly preferred * Must be proficient in typing skills We Offer a Total Rewards Package that Supports the Health, Life, Career and Retirement of our employees. We are seeking a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, detail oriented, strong analytical ability. eClinicalWorks experience is highly preferred. Must be proficient in typing skills; prefer someone able to navigate their computer and systems well. Prefer someone with experience performing prior authorizations for medications & radiology procedures or procedure scheduling. Must have excellent oral and written communications. Must have the ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor while working under pressure.
