We're seeking an Internal Channels Manager who will serve as the driving force behind the digital channels that inform, inspire, and engage JLL's diverse global colleague audiences. This dynamic role blends technical expertise with editorial flair, using data insights and creativity to create meaningful connections across our organization while ensuring every colleague feels informed, valued, and part of One JLL.

The Internal Channels Manager operates as both a technical specialist and communications strategist, managing our flagship newsletter, enterprise communication platforms, and emerging digital channels. This role requires exceptional platform management skills, analytical acumen, and an ability to optimize digital experiences for colleagues worldwide while maintaining editorial excellence and engagement.

Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, Content & Channels, this role leads enterprise channel strategy by combining technical proficiency, data-driven insights, and an understanding of what makes digital communication meaningful to our people.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Management & Optimization

  • Manage and optimize JLL's key communication platforms including Poppulo email platform, SharePoint intranet (Connect), Viva Engage, and future digital channels to create seamless, personalized experiences for colleagues worldwide.

  • Serve as Managing Editor of JLL Connected, our flagship company newsletter, coordinating with stakeholders across the business to ensure every edition celebrates our people, highlights wins, and shares vital updates.

  • Troubleshoot technical challenges, optimize platform functionality, and ensure our digital workplace truly serves colleague needs across all channels.

  • Oversee Connect Homepage management as the single landing page for all colleagues, providing personalized news, information and services.

  • Manage digital screens and ambient communication channels strategically located in offices globally, delivering mix of global, regional, and local content in static and video formats.

Data Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Analyze engagement metrics and usage patterns across all internal channels to understand what resonates with colleagues and drives meaningful connection.

  • Work in partnership with the Internal Content Manager and wider Internal Communications team to translate data insights into actionable recommendations that strengthen communications and enhance employee experience.

  • Utilize analytics tools (Power BI, tyGraph) to identify trends, extract meaningful stories from data, and inform channel strategy decisions.

Training & Consultancy

  • Serve as the go-to technical expert for our communications network, offering training, best practices, and consultancy to help colleagues across the business maximize their engagement efforts.

  • Provide guidance and support to content contributors and regional communications teams on platform usage and optimization.

  • Lead adoption initiatives for new platforms and features, including substantial projects such as Viva Engage rollout and AI integration in internal communications.

Strategic Partnership & Innovation

  • Partner with the Director of Internal Content and Channels on strategic initiatives, stepping in as deputy when needed and collaborating with the broader Group Internal Communications team.

  • Work directly with IT teams to innovate and deliver best practice in the internal communications space, particularly focusing on enhancing engagement for non-desk-based colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in digital communications, platform management, or internal communications-ideally in large and/or global organizations.

  • 3+ years of hands-on SharePoint 365 experience, creating and managing sites that drive user engagement and adoption.

  • Proven experience with Poppulo or equivalent enterprise email platforms for large-scale email campaigns and audience targeting.

  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Power BI, tyGraph, Google Analytics) and demonstrated ability to identify and extract meaningful insights from data.

  • Strong understanding of the internal digital landscape, particularly in colleague engagement, AI applications, and content sharing in large-scale corporate environments.

  • Experience managing multiple platforms, projects, and stakeholder relationships in matrix organizations.

  • Track record of using data analytics to inform platform optimization and content strategy decisions.

  • Experience with project management and change management in digital transformation initiatives.

Estimated compensation for this position:

92,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
