Position Summary

The Program Manager, Commercial Digital Transformation will lead strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize commercial processes, systems, and digital tools. This role will oversee large-scale transformation projects such as Salesforce implementation, End-to-End AI automation, customer portals, case management, customer 360 views, OTC/Billing automation, and advanced market analytics. The Program Manager will partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and IT to ensure successful delivery of process and technology improvements that enhance customer experience, drive efficiency, and unlock growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



  • Strategic Leadership


  • Define and execute the roadmap for Sales & Marketing process and system digital transformation, aligned with corporate strategy.


  • Champion change management, adoption, and continuous improvement across the commercial organization.


  • Program & Project Management


  • Lead cross-functional projects including existing Sales Transformation, Pricing and Deal profitability automation, AI automation initiatives, and Customer 360 view.


  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and communications with executive stakeholders.


  • Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions with measurable business outcomes.


  • Process Excellence


  • Redesign and streamline Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service processes to enable automation, self-service, and analytics.


  • Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, data silos, and system redundancies.


  • Digital Innovation


  • Partner with IT and vendors to deploy advanced technologies such as AI, analytics, and automation into commercial workflows.


  • Drive implementation of customer-facing tools (portal, case management, self-service) to improve customer experience.


  • Analytics & Insights


  • Build scalable market analytics and reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making.


  • Enable predictive forecasting, opportunity identification, and pricing/OTC optimization through data-driven tools.


  • Stakeholder Engagement


  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, and Operations leaders to ensure alignment and adoption.


  • Communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership.



Required Skills



  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, CRM, ERP (SAP), AI/automation technologies, and digital tools for Sales & Marketing.


  • Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.


  • Excellent project management skills (PMP or Agile certification a plus).


  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.


  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.



Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field


  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Experience transformation with a focus on digital systems and process improvement.


The salary range for this position is $117,000-$156,000. Messer provides medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance and paid time off as well as other voluntary benefits, such as, long term disability in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Plans. Employees are eligible to enroll in Messer's 401(k) Plan. Employees may be eligible to participate in the company's bonus program.
