Description

The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. ("PNC") and Stinson LLP ("Stinson") are pleased to offer a split Summer Associate position for a current 1L law student. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, the Summer Associate will be an employee of Stinson and split the 10-week summer program between the firm and PNC's legal department in Overland Park, Kansas. The successful candidate will be offered meaningful opportunities to work on legal-related assignments and to learn about Stinson, PNC and the Kansas City community as a whole.

Stinson's Summer Associate salary is $3,653 per week. Summer Associates are not eligible for benefits as this is a temporary position. Stinson hires 1L Summer Associates with the hope that after the successful completion of their 1L summer, they will re-join us for their following 2L summer.

Qualifications:



  • 1L student attending an ABA-accredited school
  • Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Strong academic record as an undergraduate, graduate (if applicable) and law school student
  • Effective legal writing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to practicing law in Kansas City, Missouri
