POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst oversees complex configuration and larger implementation projects, including project management, resource alignment, and troubleshooting. In addition, they define, configure, and deploy the technology roadmap for a subset of Workday. This role drives efficiency and optimization by bringing to life best-in-class processes, developed and defined in partnership with cross-functional teams, to ensure frictionless experiences, alignment to business strategies, and built-to-scale. This role will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and optimization of integrations within Workday and will also focus on reporting.
This role is open to remote work with some travel required to Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange across internal systems and external vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party partners to gather requirements, configure integration solutions, and conduct thorough testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, monitor performance, and manage ongoing support and enhancements to maintain system connectivity.
- Leverage advanced reporting capabilities within Workday, including calculated fields, matrix reports, and composite reporting to support integration logic and data validation.
- Drive the project management, configuration, optimization, testing, and reporting of larger/complex Workday implementations, in addition to owning an area of Workday.
- In partnership with the HRIS Manager, mentor and support the team by providing coaching, feedback, and development experience to junior team members. Is the go-to expert for all things Workday for the team.
- Develop strong partnerships with our Workday users. Seek information and feedback to understand their needs. Leverage Workday Community, network with other Workday customers, and research external trends applying new ideas where appropriate to US Venture.
- Aligning the technology, HR, and business strategies to drive transformation.
- Champion release management, feature adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver training and support to elevate end-user capabilities.
- Evaluate HR systems to identify points of improvement and implement enhancements.
- Maintain system security and end-user access and ensure data security and privacy requirements compliance.
- Partner with the data analytics team to optimize the creation and ongoing maintenance of dashboards and reporting.
- In partnership with data and analytics, design and implement dashboards and reports providing managers with business intelligence critical to driving strategies and making key decisions
- Continue to improve Workday adoption throughout the Company. Assist in determining the appropriate cadence of adoption.
- Lead updates and releases, thoroughly reviewing what functionality is changing with the update, implementing new functionality based on business priorities, and creating awareness of changes to impacted users.
- Mentor and support the team. Support the Manager by providing coaching, feedback, and development experience to junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
5+ years of hands-on Workday experience Proven background in HRIS with at least 7+ years in the space 4+ years experience building new and maintaining existing Workday integrations 3+ years experience in Workday reporting, including building and maintaining advanced and matrix reports and calculated fields. Workday composite reporting experience a strong plus Strong configuration experience and a deep understanding of system workflows Strategic mindset with the ability to execute on details Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals Strong "client service" mindset and the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals Strong business analyst mindset including the ability to seek out information from users in order to understand their needs and leverage technology to meet those needs Proven project management and process improvement skills Proven skills in prioritizing, problem solving and accelerating change Demonstrated experience as an inquisitive creative thinker, with an innovative growth mindset Possesses the attitude and determination to stay focused on results and deadlines until the task or project is completed Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
