Human Resources Labor Relations

Washington DC

Pay From: $42 Per Hour

MUST:

The Human Resources Business Partner-Labor Relations Candidate should have the following experience:

5+ years of experience in the Human Resources Labor Relations field

Strong collective bargaining, arbitration, negotiating labor contracts and Union experience

Resolving labor relations matters including employee disputes, and handling grievance procedures

Developing and implementing policies and procedures and initiatives for organizational effectiveness

Providing guidance with employee relations, recruiting, compensation and performance management

Supporting leave management including ADA, FMLA, WC, LOA and STD

Ensuring compliance with state and federal employment legislation in order to reduce legal risks

Responding to employee issues and handling employee relations

Drafting responses and proposals

Bachelor's Degree


DUTIES:

The Duties of the Human Resources Labor Relations Specialist include but are not limited to the following:

Handle collective bargaining and negotiate Labor Contracts

Resolve labor relations related issues

Conduct investigations in regards to misconduct and union complaints

Monitor compliance with federal and state employment legislation

Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management and compensation and various human resource

Interpret labor contracts

Coordinate grievance procedures

Prepare correspondence that is required for contract negotiations
