The Software and Database Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing database solutions that support business applications and reporting needs.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Develop and maintain SQL Server database structures to support application and reporting requirements.
- Build, maintain, and automate data integration processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Configure report automation, including standard and data-driven subscriptions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.
- Support and maintain legacy Visual Basic 6 (VB6) applications with responsibility for migrating functionality to a modern application framework.
- Provide technical support for pharmacy operations, including troubleshooting labeling printers and barcode scanners, assisting with system setups and migrations (ie., LSPedia), and supporting testing during infrastructure changes such as Citrix deployments.
Qualifications
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Major: Computer Science or other related field of study Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
- Customarily has at least 5 years of experience in software/database inventory management with experience with T-SQL, SQL Server technologies, data integration, reporting services, and legacy application support.
