Current Need:

The Senior AI Product Manager rolesupports the execution of McKesson's enterprise innovation strategy by managing the day-to-day operations of innovation projects and programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Innovation, the Manager of Product Innovationis responsible forcoordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, and ensuringtimelydelivery of pilots, proof of concepts, andminimumviableproducts. This role plays a critical part in operationalizing innovation efforts, applying structured methodologies, andmaintainingalignment with strategic goals. The position requires strong organizational skills, stakeholder engagement, and a working knowledge of innovation frameworks and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

InnovationProduct Building &Management

• AI-firsttactical execution of innovation initiatives from concept through pilot and MVP delivery.
• Develop andmaintaindetailedPDLCplans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Track progress against milestones and proactively identify& communicaterisks or delays.
• Ensure documentation and reporting of project outcomes and learnings.
• Help build businesscasesjustifying investments in and returns fromindividual innovation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Facilitate collaboration across product, strategy, operations, analytics, and technical teams.
• Schedule and lead working sessions, stand-ups, and stakeholder updates.
• Serve as thecentral pointof contact for assigned innovation projects.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical feasibility.

Innovation Process & Methodology

• Use theappropriate AI-poweredtech stack and features to maximize efficiency andaccelerate the path toidentifyingproduct-marketfit.
• Apply structured innovation frameworks such as design thinking, lean startup, and agile delivery.
• Support intake, discovery, and validation phases of the innovation lifecycle.
• Maintain innovation pipeline tools and dashboards to track project status and metrics.
• Assistin stage-gate reviews and governance processes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Prepare and deliver clear communications to internal stakeholdersregardingproject status, outcomes, and next steps.
• Support the development of business cases and presentation materials for leadership reviews.
• Coordinate feedback loops with business units, customers, and partners to refine concepts.

Market & Customer Insight Integration

• Partner with analytics and strategy teams to incorporate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into project planning.
• Support vendor and partner engagement for external research and concept validation.
• Help synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for innovation initiatives.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Business Experience

• 7+years of experience in product,venture,innovation, strategy, or program management roles.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with digital product development and agile delivery practices.
• Exposure to healthcare or regulated industries preferred.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of innovation tools and frameworks.
• Proficiencyin collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Figma Make, Miro, Jira Rovo, Confluence, Smartsheet).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced environments.
• Certificationinnovation methodologies preferred (e.g., Scrum, Lean Startup).

Working Conditions:

• TraditionalHybrid/office environment.
• Open to Remote within U.S.
• Commutability to Irving, TX is preferred but notrequired.
• Up to20%travel.
