Now hiring CAD Designer Location: Dayton, OH Pay: $32 - $35 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift Staffmark has a great direct-hire opportunity near you. Key Duties: Use Solidworks to create 2D drawings and 3D models for products, tools, and mechanical components, translating ideas into detailed, manufacturable designs by collaborating with engineers and clients. Build virtual prototypes, analyzing and generating technical documentation, checking designs for functionality, and revising models to improve effectiveness. Travel between campuses. Qualifications 5+ years of recent CAD Designing experience in SolidWorks. Be able to lift 50 lbs. A valid driver's license. Proven ability to create 2D drawings as well as 3D models. Proficient with GD&T, engineering drawings, and blueprints. Proven experience with precision measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, etc. Thrives when collaborating and communicating with multiple workgroups.
