Pay Rate: $18.00+ per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Monday - Friday | 5 AM - 5 PM (Must be flexible to work some weekends)

• 2+ years of CNC lathe or mill experience.
• Confidence in reading prints and hitting tight tolerances.

What You'll Do Behind the Machine

• Perform the setup and operation ofCNCmachinery
• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations, and/or setup requirements
• Measure, mark, and otherwise indicate the dimensions and reference points on the part or material to be used as guides for subsequent machining
• Select, align, and secure the holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines to include mills, lathes, and grinders
• Calculate and set controls to regulate various machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut
• Start and observe machine operation to detect any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, adjust as necessary.
• Verify conformance of finished part to ensure it meets specifications
• Confer with production personnel, supervisors, and/or others to resolve machining or assembly issues
• Perform daily maintenance duties and/or notify supervisor of any equipment-related issues that may require attention
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Responsible for performing dimensional inspections on in-process parts
