Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $17.00-$19.20 per hour Shift: 1st, 3rd Hours: 12:00am-8:00am (Sun-Thurs) QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Fairfield, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Cut, trim, hammer, and weld plastic parts using equipment such as saws, robots, pneumatic tools, and dedicated fixtures. - Install components according to work instructions using various equipment. - Trim excess material off parts using a knife. - Verify all required components are installed on parts prior to packaging. - Inspect parts for quality; reject all non-conforming parts and place them in the designated area. - Perform minor adjustments on blow molding equipment. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Machine Operator Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. non-repetitively and 10-20 lbs. repetitively. - Ability to stand for extended periods and work in extreme heat. - Ability to perform basic mathematics. - Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and directions. - Fluency in English to read policies, procedures, and communicate effectively. fairfield@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
