Position Title: Paint
Wage: $17.00-$19.00 per hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:00pm-6:00am (Sun-Thurs) QPS Employment Group has a great Paint position available at a company in Keosauqua, IA. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Paint Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Prep parts for powder coating or wet painting by cleaning with lacquer thinner and rags. - Hang prepped parts onto the paint line. - Apply powder coat to bare metal surfaces. - Remove painted parts from the paint line and match them accurately with the proper documentation. - Identify and report poor-quality parts. - Perform general cleaning of the work area. - Restock inventory as needed. Paint Requirements: - Experience with paint line procedures or processes is helpful. - Experience applying powder and wet paint is a plus. - Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail. - Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift. - Must be able to work in hot environments. - Must be able to stand, lift, bend, twist, and reach for the entire shift. fairfield@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
