Position Title: Forklift Operator
Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00pm - 7:00am Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Forklift Operator at a company in Richfield, WI. This is a potential to hire position. At least one year of experience with forklifts is required to qualify, apply today! Forklift Operator Responsibilities: - Obtain copy of production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility - Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines based on production schedule - Load and unload goods from vehicles - Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility - Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions - Check loads are secure - Stack empty pallets - Perform daily equipment checks on forklifts based on OSHA guidelines - Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines - Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards - Dump materials into machine hoppers Requirements for Forklift Operator: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of forklift experience - Good math, language and reading skills - Basic computer skills - High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment - Able to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records - Able to use an RF scanner gun - Able to stand for entire shift - Able to lift 50lbs throughout the day - Valid driver's license - Forklift certification per OSHA standards browndeer@qpsemployment.com IND102 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
