Description

The Content Distribution & Partnerships intern will gain exposure and contribute to the growth and success of the Hallmark linear networks, Hallmark+, and Hallmark Movies & More. The intern will rotate every two weeks for a total duration of 12 weeks, from June 2, 2026 through August 20, 2026 among the distribution sales team across Deals, Strategic Partner Management, and Operations.

The hourly range for this job is $18.00. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Develop project management and professional communication skills
  • Be exposed to the business operations of some of the most exciting companies in the industry: Amazon, Roku, YouTube, Comcast, DIRECTV, Samsung, and more
  • Support the broader operations of the Hallmark Media Content Distribution & Partnerships team.
  • Develop a base knowledge in the rapidly changing media industry
  • Be exposed to various aspects of the sales function: partner management, research analytics, and development of sales presentations.
  • Learn about Network & Product Review- HC, HMYS, HFM, H+, HMMore, Licensing
  • Work with Coordinators in managing SVOD and AVOD marketing request and partnerships
  • Handle requests from Marketing/Programming the SVOD and Linear monthly priorities and programming planning
  • Monitor unlocked SVOD content with all partners



BASIC REQUIREMENTS



  • Rising junior or senior from a four-year university.
  • Preferred area of study in Communications, Marketing or Business.
  • Technical Skills: High level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, ability to manipulate data sets, create advanced formulas and utilize pivot tables.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Hallmark as a company and the media/TV/Video industry in general.
  • Curious, hard-working, and a genuine interest in a career in distribution.
  • The ability to work well on teams and collaborative efforts.
  • A self-starter attitude and proactive nature.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Balance multiple tasks effectively.
