Job Summary Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about delivering patient-centered care and improving communication, swallowing, and cognitive outcomes within a dynamic healthcare environment. The Speech-Language Pathologist practices within the scope of the Georgia State Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote optimal functional outcomes. In this role, the Speech-Language Pathologist plans, implements, and evaluates speech-language pathology interventions for patients referred to the Speech Therapy Department at Grady. Care is provided to a diverse patient population across the lifespan-including adult and geriatric patients-while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and supporting coordinated patient care. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapeutic interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations Provide treatment for patients across multiple age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient care plans Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practices Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards Maintain compliance with Georgia licensure requirements, departmental policies, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Licensed or license-eligible as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Georgia, with proof of Georgia licensure required at the commencement of employment Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
