Job Summary

This position assists the Office of the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and plays a key role in planning, implementing, and advancing the goals of the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences (NWCNHS). It provides leadership to enhance student satisfaction across all academic programs, including Athletic Training, Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Health Services Administration. The role
ensures alignment with both college and university-wide student success initiatives, maintains compliance, and promotes excellence in academic support services. This position will report to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs of the college.

  • Assists with the management of student affairs functions.
  • Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic and operational systems related to admissions, retention, progression, and graduation.
  • Administers student emergency fund requests by gathering information on extenuating circumstances and financial aid status, and coordinates with leadership for review and approval.
  • Assists with the timely resolution of student grievances, graduation certification reviews, interprets policies and regulations, and ensures all grievances are properly documented and organized.
  • Assists with developing partnerships throughout the University in order to attain departmental goals and objectives. This includes serving as a liaison with University Enrollment Services, the Student Services Director, and Department Chairs to address student enrollment and success.
  • Creates and manages student lifecycle touchpoints and resolves related issues.
  • Assists with Panther Success Network (PSN) initiatives and continuous integration, acting as the liaison between the college and the university's PSN office.
  • Monitor and review compliance with policies, including oversight of the Student Perceptions of Teaching Survey (SPOTS).
  • Assists with accreditation activities and continuous improvement initiatives, including the completion of internal, state, regional, and specialized accreditation surveys and forms.
  • Provides data and reports for surveys and requests from the Dean's Office and Department Chairs, including generating student-related queries and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tracks and reports on grade changes, incompletes, and end-of-semester grade submissions to ensure academic integrity.
  • Supervises and coaches professional and/or support staff, establishes goals, identifies professional development opportunities, and evaluates performance.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree and two (2) years of experience.
