JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with relevant hospitality/real estate work experience to join our Miami-based Investment Sales team as an Analyst.

JLL's Miami-based Hotel Investment Sales team is a group of hotel and real estate investment professionals recognized as the premier capital markets advisors for owners of luxury urban hotels and destination resorts throughout the Southeast United States, Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America. This team focuses on supporting capital strategies and investment execution for owners of full-service hotels with complex real estate and operational dynamics in the region. The current configuration and members of this team have successfully marketed and sold billions of dollars in hotels and hospitality assets for a variety of global institutional and family office investment groups.

Responsibilities:

* Support Hotels & Hospitality team members in securing / executing the listing, marketing, and closing of complex hospitality real estate transactions.

* Understand, interpret, and translate financial data from hotel / hospitality P&L statements for input into valuation models.

* With guidance from senior team members, develop pro-forma financial projections.

* With guidance from senior team members, complete preliminary asset valuations using discounted cash flow, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales and construction cost techniques.

* Gather, compile and present economic and demographic data in formats pertinent to real estate transactions.

* Assist in all aspects of preparing pitches, offering materials and research / miscellaneous reports.

* Abstracting legal documents.

* Communicating with and coordinating work of third-party vendors (graphic and web designers) in connection with preparation of offering materials and presentations.

* With guidance from senior team members, facilitating transaction due diligence processes.

Qualifications:

* BA/BS degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration and/or Real Estate Finance

* Strong record of academic achievement

* Demonstrated quantitative skills

* Hospitality industry-specific work experience in the areas of real estate ownership & investment, valuations, hotel & restaurant operations, and/or sales & marketing (relevant internship experience will be considered)

* Genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an appreciation of the diversity of individuals who comprise the industry, from the highest levels of ownership and management to the line-level

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated enthusiasm for building and nurturing professional relationships

* Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

* Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment where results matter and where all team members take accountability for their work

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team

* Ability to work within formal reporting relationships

* Flexibility to work after normal business hours and on weekends as needed

* Exceptional business computing skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

* Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
