Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Salary Range: $100k to $125k We are looking for an Audit Readiness Specialist to join our team in supporting the Army Material Command (AMC). The candidate must have experience providing audit readiness support and activities for the Department of Defense, including experience with the execution of audits and remediation of weaknesses within business processes and internal controls. Preferred candidates should have experience with Army audit facilitation tools such as (A-FACT) and experience with DoD audit facilitation/remedation. Responsibilities Candidate responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including supporting audit remediation activities by documenting, developing, and updating process documentation such as narratives and workflow charts. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for creating and implementing corrective action plans to address identified findings. The role also involves conducting, designing, and executing recurring testing, with a particular focus on testing internal controls. Furthermore, candidates will perform and review statement analyses, assess financial information, report results, and analyze financial statement audit reports.
