Peraton is seeking an experienced SOC Lead to lead and mature cybersecurity monitoring, detection, and incident response operations supporting programs aligned to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the SOC, including workforce leadership, tool governance, incident response oversight, and continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities across the National Airspace System (NAS). The ideal candidate brings deep SOC leadership experience, strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks, and a proven ability to manage teams, processes, and technologies in a highly regulated, high-availability environment. In this position, you will:
Lead and manage SOC operations, including staffing models, shift coverage, and on-call rotations. Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
