Job Description




As a Airport Security Officer - Alarm Patroller in Kahului, HI, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements

    Valid Driver's License
  • 21+ years of age
  • Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
  • Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols within the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points to restricted areas.
  • Support Allied Universal leadership and team members by communicating relevant information about incidents and site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
