Chevo is hiring an experienced Program Manager to join our expanding firm in the Washington, DC metro area. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility in leading multi-faceted initiatives involving financial analysis and modeling, performance measurement systems, risk assessment frameworks, process standardization, and organizational development, all within a dynamic federal law enforcement environment where strategic insight and analytical rigor drive mission success. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead program and project management activities across multiple concurrent initiatives supporting mission-critical operations for a federal law enforcement client, including initiative planning, work breakdown scheduling, risk register management, deliverable tracking, and comprehensive status reporting
- Drive business process improvement and organizational development efforts through workflow analysis, process reengineering, process standardization, and change management to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide strategic analytical support including financial modeling and analysis, performance measurement system development, risk assessment framework implementation, and investment justification to inform leadership decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multi-stakeholder engagement across diverse functional areas (analytical, operational, administrative) to ensure integrated delivery of complex initiatives
- Facilitate senior-level meetings, develop executive briefings and white papers, track action items, and coordinate responses to high-visibility tasker requirements
- Oversee quality assurance processes and deadline management to ensure adherence and completeness to contract requirements and deliverable standards
- Support federal program leadership with subject matter expertise in Federal Financial Management, governance frameworks, and industry best practices for project management
- Strong written and oral communication skills required to effectively engage with all levels of management and serve as a trusted advisor to federal clients
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance, Data Science, Analytics, or related field; preferably Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Public Administration, or a similar field.
- Possess a minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience providing the Federal government with support coordinating projects and reviewing work for adherence and completeness to the contract requirements.
- Possesses five (5) years of program management experience, preferably with law enforcement support experience included
- PMP certification strongly preferred but not required
Experience should include, but is not limited to, experience in:
- Overseeing and supervising contract requirements and providing guidance on all operational functions
- Overseeing deployment of analytical and budgeting projects in a Law Enforcement Environment
- Overseeing deployment of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server dashboarding and coding for data analysis
- Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities and interdependencies
- Demonstrated ability to integrate work streams across diverse functional areas
- Ability to develop point papers, briefing materials, and to make oral presentation of these materials to all levels of management
- Ability to educate and inform senior management on various alternatives and strategic approaches for key decision-making requirements
- Ability to provide clear leadership, technical direction, and strategic insight to federal leads and Program leadership
- Ability to review, synthesize and prepare highly technical, sensitive and complex documents, briefing materials, management directives and correspondence
