As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with the public and provide outstanding customer service, while assisting with access control and badge procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site instructions.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding visitors and staff during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to tenants, employees, and visitors.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
