THE ROLE

This is a hands-on leadership role with a unique opportunity to build and shape a global executive search function from the ground up. The leader will partner with senior executive stakeholders across the enterprise-including Engineering, market-facing Product Business Units, and SG&A functions worldwide-to drive strategic executive hiring outcomes. You will design and implement best-in-class processes, tools, and strategies for executive recruitment (VP+), ensuring direct sourcing excellence and delivering exceptional candidate and client experiences. THE PERSON

The ideal candidate brings progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of leading executive search within a global enterprise and/or executive search firm. This leader possesses deep expertise in executive sourcing, market mapping, pipeline development, and candidate engagement, combined with strong C-Suite interaction skills. You are entrepreneurial, highly visible, and ready to take on a greenfield challenge-building and scaling an executive search function that supports AMD's global growth and leadership needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership and C-Suite roles across global markets.
  • Partner directly with AMD C-Suite executives and HR leaders to define role requirements, align hiring strategies, and provide market insights.
  • Architect and implement a global executive search framework, including processes, tools, and metrics.
  • Proactively source and map executive talent to strengthen leadership succession pipelines worldwide.
  • Serve as the day-to-day face of executive recruitment, ensuring a seamless process and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Oversee executive-level requisition management and ensure appropriate TA support for each business and function.
  • Monitor hiring targets, time-to-fill, acceptance rates, and candidate feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Coach senior leaders on hiring discipline, interview practices, and equitable decision-making.
  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing global team, fostering delivery excellence and continuous growth.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated experience delivering executive recruiting outcomes in a global enterprise.
  • Strong understanding of global talent markets, sourcing strategies, and executive assessment methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in semiconductor or technology sectors recruiting technical and business executives.
  • Strong business writing skills for operating plans, strategies, goals, and business reviews.
  • Background in building or transforming recruiting programs from the ground up.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and sensitivity to confidential information.
